Book Check Out
Kindergarten students may check out 1 book per week and students in grades 1-6 may check out 2 books/magazines per week. Special consideration and adjustments may be made when students are working on a particular project. Books are typically due back in 1 week, however, they can be renewed. Although there are classes scheduled throughout the day, students may drop in (with their classroom teachers' permission) to return or renew books provided a Media Center staff person is available. Students may place a particular book on hold and they will be notified when the book has been returned. There are no fines for overdue materials. Students who lose or damage books will be asked to reimburse the school for the cost of replacing or repairing the book.
